Upon arrival all new gear box's have a solid 1/8" plug in the top that needs to be removed and replaced with a vented plug(HM-106-014). Running the unit without a vented plug will cause pressure to build up and could cause the oil seals to blow out.
This gearbox runs with 80-90 gear oil that can be purchased from most local auto suppliers.
